On the 17th of April 2017, HAM will join the global bleeding disorders community in celebrating World Haemophilia Day! Every year on April 17th, World Haemophilia Day is observed around the world to increase awareness of haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. This is a critical effort with an ultimate goal of ensuring better diagnosis and access to care for the millions who have a rare bleeding disorder yet remain without treatment.
HAM is pleased to be taking the opportunity on World Haemophilia Day to bring attention to the women and girls in our community who live with a bleeding disorder or has someone in their lives who does. Follow us closely on Face Book (https://www.facebook.com/haemophiliamauritius/) for further developments in this regard.
Additionally, every year we participate in the Light It Up in Red Campaign! initiative by the World Federation of Haemophilia and this year we will light up the Bagatelle bridge in red!
Please show us your support by taking pictures of the bridge - post them on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtags #stopthebleeding #WHD2017 #HaemophiliaMauritius
Together we can make a difference. Help us raise awareness.
